Travel Approval
We received our travel approval today! We will receive custody of our sweet boy on May 13th in Medellin, Colombia (that's right, next Friday). Update later...right now we are buying tickets so we can go to the consulate for our visas tomorrow. Typically, visas are not required for traveling to Colombia but because we will be completing an adoption there, we need special travel visas. Soooo exciting!

We adopted our kids (4 siblings) from Bogota in Jan '09. I just recently found out that our oldest was involved in Kidsave, but was with a local Colombian family instead of traveling to the U.S. We have recently contacted his Kidsave family and plan to keep in touch with them. This program was a blessing for our son as well. Best wishes for your adoption journey!
