It's Official!
We just found out that Paula will be arriving on June 30th just before midnight! Having the actual date makes the anticipation so real. So, she will be arriving at the airport on June 30th and coming home to stay with us for just under 5 weeks. Paula will fly home to Colombia with the other DC community kids bright and early on August 3rd. I already have a sick feeling about saying "goodbye" and I haven't even met her yet.

Hi there! We are hosting a little boy in Austin, TX and I know how you feel! I am so excited that they are almost here but at the same sad that we have a departure date set. One suggestion I got at the training was to have a big calendar posted somewhere in the house with all the activities for the 5 weeks, including the departure date. That makes it easier for the kids to know what to expect every day. It also makes it easy for all of us to understand that they have to return to Colombia & that we really need to love them & enjoy every minute we have with them!
